A manhole cover should be unobtrusive. Van den Broek in Heteren specialises in fixing loose covers. To make them strong and well integrated in the surface of the road. Needless to say, these repairs need to be carried out fast.

PUROC supplies Van den Broek with a special two component solution to make strong and fast repairs. QR109 produces an extremely strong connection in a mix of grit and sand. The material is easily applied and is ready for use within half an hour. It even comes in any RAL colour of your choice.

For Van den Broek this new method is a lot easier – and environment friendlier – than the traditional way with hot bitumen.

After our meeting last October in Druten, The Netherlands, MalerplusParkett owner Schmitz needed to put PUROC to the test. He ordered a small amount of conventional UP primer and QF EPT with silver sand to treat the floor of a garage.

We’ll probably hear from him again in 2035 after which time he may notice the first signs of wear . . .

Twelve balconies in just one day

On a refurbishing project in Neuss, our partner Thomas Welter (Malermeister) was asked how to repair and embellish the balconies of twelve apartments. The balconies wore a layer of old coating of indefinite age and deplorable condition.

Thomas Welter chose to treat these with a combination of three layers of PUROC products. First a layer of UP Fast as a primer and then two layers of QF PUR with catalyst sand and finished with a coloured flake.

After careful sanding and cleaning the balconies were ready and accessible within six hours . . . the occupants were able to enjoy their new balconies immediately upon coming home.

Kerem Erdok of Acoplan tests PUROC for DACHSER transport facilities

Our smart partner Acoplan – who did the Eurotower parking garage treatment – has used a small surplus of material for super fast repair of cracks and holes.

DACHSER challenged Kerem Erdok to show how PUROC can be used to repair and coat ramps and floors of the loading docks of their distribution facilities. A big concern for DACHSER is the speed with which PUROC can be applied to minimise downtime.

This facility in the south of Germany is used 24 hours a day. Dozens of truck rumble in and out, laden and unladen. Putting great stresses on the concrete floors. Cracks in the concrete have the tendency to deteriorate very quickly into real damage.

Acoplan applied QF EPT mixed with 40% to 50% of sand. This was use as a kind of mortar to repair cracks. Within a few weeks time DACHSER will check these to see if our solution is sustainable.

Eurotower Parkinggarage

PUROC recently realised its first major order. We supplied and applied a coating solution for approximately 7.000 m2 on several levels of the carpark of the Eurotower in Frankfurt, Germany.
